We traveled from Pagosa Springs in the Southwest to Grand Lake in the Northeast. 
Along the way, we got to see a bit of snow at Wolf Creek Pass, visit the Leadville Fish Hatchery and a rockshop in Leadville itself, and have dinner and beer (well, not the kids) at the Grand Lake Brewpub.
Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain yesterday that kept us from hiking as we had planned and made our picnic of the eat-in-the-car kind rather than the sit on the top of a mountain at a beautiful overlook kind. 
Today we're heading towards Rocky Mountain National Park to explore. It looks a lot less rainy today.
